At Compass Point we believe that baptism is one of the most important "next steps" that you'll take in your journey as a Christian. The Bible clearly teaches that baptism by immersion (dunking) is the first step of obedience after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Baptism also allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to follow Christ.

People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked? The best way to have these questions answered is by speaking with a Compass Point pastor after the Sunday service of by emailing office@compasspointlakeland.com.
